Da bambino sognavi di poter progettare e costruire una macchina da corse, ma hai sempre pensato che fosse traguardo irraggiungibile?
Invece si può! Ogni anno la Squadra Corse, composta da circa 40 studenti del Politecnico di Torino, progetta e costruisce una monoposto da gara, sfidando altre squadre universitarie sui circuiti di tutta Europa. Questo documentario racconta una stagione trascorsa con la squadra dal punto di vista di 3 studenti. Un progetto da realizzare, la passione per i motori, la voglia di vincere, un'équipe di lavoro che diventa mano a mano un gruppo di amici, ma anche la fatica, i fallimenti, gli screzi e le difficoltà di chi affronta per la prima volta una grande sfida. Un'esperienza emozionante e divertente, che trasforma i ragazzi in adulti, superando i soliti pregiudizi su “donne&motori” o sui “giovani d'oggi”. Una corsa fino all’ultima gara, quando succede qualcosa che non era mai accaduto nella storia del team…

As a child did you dream of designing and building your own racing car, but you always thought it was an unachievable goal?
Yes, it is possible! Every year, the Squadra Corse, a team composed of about 40 students of the Polytechnic University of Turin, designs and builds a racing single-seater, defying other university teams on race tracks around all of Europe. This documentary describes a season spent with the team from the point of view of three students. It is a tale about a project to achieve, the passion for engines, the desire to win, a working team that gradually becomes a group of friends, but also about the struggles, the failures, the disagreements and the difficulties of people who are facing for the first time a big challenge. A touching and exciting experience, that turns young students into adults, overcoming the usual prejudices on “women and cars” and on “the youngsters these days”. A run until the last race, when something that never happened in the history of the team takes place…
